Each answer lists the cat column for row 1 through row 7. This table is generated by our solver and checked for a unique solution per board — it is not copied by hand. Every date has its own permanent link.
How the answers are computed, and why they change
The daily puzzle changes at local midnight and is generated from a deterministic seed — the same date always produces the same board, so past answers stay valid forever. Before publication, our solver enumerates every legal arrangement and confirms there is exactly one solution; a board with several solutions is discarded. To check a board you typed in, use the solver; to learn the game from scratch, read the rules.
About the daily answers
When does the daily puzzle change?
At midnight in your local time zone. Everyone gets the same 7×7 board on the same day, so the answer is fixed for that date.
What do the numbers in the answer mean?
From left to right they are the cat column for row 1 through row 7, counting from 1. For example 3 → 1 → 5 means the cat in row 1 is in column 3, row 2 in column 1, row 3 in column 5.
Can I share a specific day?
Yes. Every date has a permanent link — just send the page URL. You can also open a date directly from the game page with ?d=YYYYMMDD.
